Monocle is the magazine figurehead of the international design/business/culture media empire launched by Tyler Brule in 2007.

Issue #186 for September 2025 is themed the ‘Mobility Special’, coinciding with Monocle’s upcoming Quality of Life Conference; this year the annual conference takes place in ‘balmy’ Barcelona, easily accessible via Spain’s national high-speed train network.
