Book launch: The Greece Notebook by Michael McGregor

The Greece Notebook by Michael McGregor is the first book published by Hyper Hypo and we couldn’t be more proud. Please join us at the shop this Thursday, June 1, from 7:30pm for the official launch and signing event with @themcgregor. In 2022 Michael spent 3 months living and creating work in Greece. When we saw his post, flipping through his original hand-drawn notebook, we knew this had to become our first book. His use of color, choice of subjects and confident lines transported us to those beautiful “mundane” moments of everyday life during a Greek summer. The series of 44 “point and shoot” drawings were made in a flash, to emulate the candidness of shooting photos on a disposable camera while on holiday. We think you’ll feel like you’re on holiday every time you pick it up. See you on Thursday!
