LEEFWERK’ is a duo formed by Roman Luterbacher & Niels Coppens. Under this title, they build monumental scenographies: prototype sculptures that zoom in on zeitgeist topics and who do their work as giant diversions and well-planned excuses to write poetic certificates as an effective outcome.
Their project ‘Artists on Tour’ was seemingly spontaneous and yet has a strongly directed lecture performance which came to life from a van that has been converted into a merchandising stand.
This substantial publication reflects the results of their last two projects carried out between 2019 and 2021, from Athens to Courtrai.
