 25.00

In 2019, British artist Antony Gormley and his iron “bodyforms” repopulated the island of
Delos for the first time after thousands of years, for the exhibition SIGHT. The 29 sculptures
restored the human presence on Delos for six months and animated the geological and
archaeological features of the island. The exhibition catalogue takes the reader on a journey
of mythology and history of this unique island and this unprecedented site-specific
exhibition by Antony Gormley which was commissioned and organized by NEON in
collaboration with the Ephorate of Antiquities of Cyclades.
The publication features texts and essays by Dimitris Daskalopoulos, NEON Founder,
Demetris Athanasoulis, Director of the Ephorate of Antiquities of Cyclades, Elina Kountouri,
NEON Director and co-curator of the exhibition, Iwona Blazwick, co-curator of the exhibition, Emily Riddle, Policy Lab UK Studio Manager & NEON Curatorial Award 2016 receipient. Fanis
Kafantaris, Architect and NEON Head of Design.
