Zine launch & exhibition: Banana and the Monkey

Join us this coming Thursday, October 13, for the launch of “Banana and the Monkey: Gone Fishing”, the new queer zine by George Kontos and Konstantinos Menelaou. Banana and the Monkey: Gone Fishing is the first installment of a series of riso printed queer zines created for the children of the future of any age and their cool parents by the cultural platform The Queer Archive. Story and characters are created by filmmaker/curator Konstantinos Menelaou and illustrations by artist George Kontos. The publication has inspired a series of artworks by Mr. Kontos that will also be exhibited in our project space. Thursday, October 13, 7pm-10pm. The exhibition will continue until Saturday, October 22nd.
