World Of Interiors: October 2026

 13.99

The World of Interiors’ fondness for obscurity and unearthing forgotten architectural treasures from around the globe has earned it cult-like status among many who wouldn’t ordinarily pick up an interiors magazine. It is a chateau among hovels in the land of glossy interiors magazines.

Despite the luxury advertising and ample dose of villas, manors and modernist rarities, there’s always something about the WoI that feels unaffected by the aspirationalism saturating the pages of its peers.

The October edition of the magazine is traditionally their heftiest—this one weighs in at 354 pages—and this year showcases 2026’s new fabric collections as a full-scale puppet show. Across 27 pages (and the front cover), stylist Ruth Sleightholme creates a spectacular story, working from scratch with a team that includes London’s Little Angels Theatre, poet Simon Armitage, actor Anne-Marie Duff and photographer Jasper Fry. Look out for the short film that accompanies the story.
