Vintage book sale by MAAT BOOKS
On Saturday, 18 April, from 11:00 to 18:00 Hyper Hypo welcomes MAAT Books for a one-day vintage book sale event. Throughout the day, MAAT will present a selection of vintage and out-of-print titles, bringing together books gathered through years of searching, collecting, and circulating printed matter.
Founded in 2019, MAAT focuses on rare and out-of-print books from the past century, with a particular interest in religion and spirituality, ethnology and the humanities, sexuality and the body. Tracing the undercurrents of civilization and human nature, its selection brings together publications that explore the more obscure, esoteric, and primal dimensions of knowledge and culture.
Visitors are invited to browse MAAT’s unique selection and explore this distinct curatorial approach brought together for this one-day event.
