Over 32 years, Frieze has developed from outsider indie to become the leading magazine for contemporary art and culture, and spawned art fairs in London, New York and Los Angeles. It provides international art coverage, criticism and analysis and promises (if not always achieving) jargon-free language.

The latest issue is not satisfied with just looking at art — it wants to live, embody, and experience it. Perhaps that is through the mundane, such as the way artist Sarah Lucas makes use of everyday materials. Or it comes through making art and raising kids on the cusp of global climate and political crisis.

On the cover is ‘Fishing’ by painter Nicole Eisenman who offers inspiration and hope for it all saying: ‘I’m painting examples of what, to me, looks like goodness in the world.’
